Yoshihiro Takahashi’s timeless manga masterwork “Silver Fang: The Shooting Star Gin” appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983-87. The stage version, which premiered in July 2019, garnered much attention for its straightforward depiction of the love, courage, friendship, loyalty, and unyielding spirit of the dogs in their fight against the bears, as well as its fast-paced production.
This show is the sequel from 2020, which completes the story of the furious life-or-death battle among the dogs.
Synopsis: Gin is an Akita Inu puppy born to the powerful bear dog Riki. He marches to Shikoku as a member of the Ou Army in search of allies to defeat Akakabuto, a ferocious killer bear that even humans have been unable to defeat. After fierce battles with dogs from all over the country, the Ou Army, now numbering in the thousands, assembles under their leader Riki under a full moon. Finally comes the deadly confrontation with the fierce Akabuto.
