BIRD Theatre Company & Theater Breaking Through Barriers “Breaking Barriers Through Theatre: To Make the World More Vibrant”

This is a documentary video tracing the trajectory of the creation of the BIRD Theatre Company& Theater Breaking Through Barriers performance “Breaking Barriers Through Theatre: To Make the World More Vibrant,” produced as a project of the Japan Foundation International Creations in Performing Arts for 2022. The dialogue between the two directors, Nicholas VISELLI and NAKASHIMA Makoto, is taken from the talk event during BIRD Theatre Festival TOTTORI 15, “The Three-Year Trajectory of the Collaboration between TBTB and JIYU Theatre-Freedom Theatre.”

This performance was produced as a project of the Japan Foundation’s International Creations in Performing Arts 2022.
