Don’t miss this chance to sample Dumb Type’s latest fantastic new ongoing work

Dumb Type is an artist collective of members with different backgrounds including in video, dance, music, design and computer programming who have been active since 1984 in various fields of performance and installations spanning these categories and beyond. In 2022 the collective will be the Japanese representative at the 59th Venice Biennale international art exhibition in Italy.

Their first new work for 18 years titled “2020” was scheduled to be performed on March 28 and 29 last year at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto in the “KYOTO STEAM — International Arts × Science Festival — 2020” until that was cancelled due to Covid-19. However, this special version recorded without audiences was released as a video work to tremendous acclaim.
