Popular anime song artist SUZUKI Konomi held a one-night-only concert in Malaysia to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Malaysian government’s adoption of the “Look East Policy.”

For Suzuki herself, who marked the tenth anniversary of her debut in 2022, this was her first overseas performance since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic three years prior. Before her departure, she was anxious about whether she would be able to live up to the encouragement and love of her fans in Malaysia. All aspects of the concert, from the title and setlist to the costuming and choreography, reflected her attention and commitment to delivering special moments to Malaysian fans.
